Career Services

Central to Monroe University's mission, The Office of Career Services delivers professional development, professional growth, and career advancement. The driving force and goal of Career Services is our belief in the power of education to facilitate social mobility and transforming communities. Our academic programs align with industries that drive the New York and international economies we serve.

The Office of Career Services provides professional coaching, individualized guidance and support throughout the career exploration process. Our career advisors assist students with identifying their career interests, exploring professional goals, and discussing job search strategies in their field of study. Assessment tools and interest inventories are also available to students who need additional guidance in identifying appropriate career options. Career Services Advisors provide opportunities for students to enhance their educational and career goals through required internships and professional development events. A full array of tools, techniques, programs, and services are also available to assist students preparing for entry or advancement in the job market.

Students are introduced and advised to visit the Office of Career Services in their first semester for assistance with managing their professional development journey throughout their studies. Leveraging the career facing technology, Handshake, and Monroe Corporate Partnership network, we empower our students/alumni to engage in strategic exploration, preparation, and action, translating their education into a lifetime of meaningful work.
